The Economic Research Foundation,
New Delhi is looking for a young professional to assist
in website and social media related work. ERF manages
three websites that broadly cover economic issues
in India and across the world (www.networkideas.org,
www,macroscan.org
and www.mappingfinance,org),
and acts as the secretariat for global network of
heterodox development economists. We would like to
make the websites interactive (with comments sections,
etc.) and create and expand our social media presence.
The selected candidate should have a grounding in
economics and be familiar with major current issues
and debates in economic policies in India and elsewhere.
Good English skills are essential. S/he would be responsible
for setting up, handling and constantly updating various
social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter). S/he
would manage the content on the websites, providing
basic editorial inputs, summaries and classifications
for location. S/he would enable comments on some of
the articles and be the moderator for such comments,
removing objectionable comments, and informing authors
about comments so that they can respond if they want.
S/he would be encouraged to find contributions as
well.
Salary will be according to qualifications and experience.
