US Inflation and India's Economic Recovery*

Accelerating
inflation in the US economy is going to cast a further
shadow on India's economic recovery which is already
threatened by the persistently depressed levels of consumption.
The finance ministry, however, blithely ignored this
aspect while making its fantastic claims about recovery
in India.
